Is the BSF exam conducted in one or two stages?

The BSF recruitment process typically involves a written examination followed by a Physical Efficiency Test and a Medical Examination. The written exam itself is often conducted in two stages: a preliminary objective test and a main descriptive test.

What is the difference between the Stage 1 and Stage 2 written exams?

The Stage 1 exam is a computer-based objective test with multiple-choice questions. The Stage 2 exam is a pen-and-paper descriptive test that includes essay writing and comprehension.

Do I need to prepare for the Physical Efficiency Test if I am focusing only on the written exam?
