Reviewed on 9 October 2026. This guide covers what Groww's own careers page, job board and investor-relations page say about working there, what the application form asks, and how to prepare for each hiring stage. It doesn't quote salary figures: Groww doesn't publish them, and we haven't found a dataset we could verify.
Who you would be working for
Groww is a Bengaluru-based investing and financial-services platform. Its investor relations page names the listed company as Billionbrains Garage Ventures Limited, with its registered address at Vaishnavi Tech Park, Bellandur, Bengaluru. The Groww careers page says GROWW has been listed on NSE and BSE since November 2025.
The business includes regulated entities. The footer of groww.in describes Groww Invest Tech Pvt. Ltd. as a member of NSE, BSE and MCX and gives its SEBI registration number. One of the open roles on the job board belongs to Groww Mutual Fund. This matters for applicants: compliance, risk and customer-facing roles in a regulated financial business carry responsibilities that a typical consumer-app job doesn't.
On 9 October 2026, the investor-relations page reported 23.6 million transacting users. Figures like this change every quarter, so check the page again before quoting it in an interview.
Keep preparing

The careers page groups work into six teams. The "useful backgrounds" column is our suggestion, not a Groww requirement. Always go by the individual job description.
| Team (as named by Groww) | What the page says the team does | Useful backgrounds |
|---|---|---|
| Engineering | Builds systems that place millions of orders a day at exchange-grade reliability | Backend, distributed systems, mobile, SRE |
| Product & Design | Shapes how first-time investors understand risk and price | Product management, UX research, design |
| Risk & Compliance | Keeps investors safe within regulatory rules | Compliance, audit, law, risk analytics |
| Data & Analytics | Turns market and user data into decisions | SQL, statistics, analytics engineering |
| Customer Experience | Supports first-time traders | Support operations, communication, investing basics |
| Business & Growth | Brings new investors to the market | Marketing, content, partnerships, sales |
What was actually open on 9 October 2026
The careers page links to Groww's Greenhouse job board. When we checked it, the board listed nine openings:
- Growth (5): including Associate – Content (Digest), Creative Illustrator, Finance Content Creator and two internships (Video Editor Intern; YouTube & Content – Internship)
- Private Wealth (2): Portfolio Specialist – Wealth; Product Research Specialist (W from Groww)
- Internal Controls (1): Assistant Manager – Internal Audit
- Sales (1): Relationship Manager, for Groww Mutual Fund
Locations were shown as "Bengaluru-VTP, India", "Bengaluru, India" or simply "India". No engineering roles were listed that day, even though Engineering appears first on the careers page. Openings change often, so check the board weekly rather than assuming a team isn't hiring. The careers page also says "Don't see your role? Apply anyway."
The hiring process, step by step
Groww's careers page describes four stages. Here's how to prepare for each.
- Apply. You can apply directly or through a referral. Tailor your resume to the specific job description. A generic fintech resume is weaker than one that answers the listed responsibilities line by line.
- Screening call. The page calls this a brief chat about you, the role and your goals. Prepare a 60-second summary of your relevant work and a clear answer to "why this role at Groww?" that refers to a product you have actually used.
- Interviews. The page describes these as deep dives with the team you would join, focused on "skills, not trivia". Expect to be asked about your own work in detail: the decisions you made, the trade-offs and the results.
- Offer. The page says candidates hear back in days. Before accepting any offer, ask for the written CTC breakdown and joining terms.
What the application form asks
On 9 October 2026, the application form for the Relationship Manager role asked for:
- Resume (PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT or RTF) and an optional LinkedIn link
- Your notice period in your current job
- Whether a relative or family member currently works at Groww
- Whether you have worked for Groww before in any capacity, such as full-time, intern or contractor
- Consent to background verification and reference checks
Other roles may use a different form, but have honest answers to these ready. Your stated notice period and employment history will be checked during background verification, so make sure they match your resume and relieving letters.
Worked example: map one job description to your evidence
Here is how a candidate might prepare for the Relationship Manager listing. That listing asks for a graduate or postgraduate in finance, business or a related field, with 2–7 years of mutual fund distribution or sales experience, especially in the IFA/MFD ecosystem. The candidate details below are illustrative.
| Line in the job description | Evidence an applicant could bring |
|---|---|
| Build relationships with IFAs and MFDs | Number of distributor relationships you managed and how long they lasted |
| Achieve sales and AUM targets | Targets you were given and what you achieved, with the period stated |
| Run product training for partners | Sessions you ran, for which audience and in which format |
| Onboard new distributors | Your onboarding steps and how long each took |
| Ensure regulatory and internal compliance | A specific compliance check you followed in client interactions |
Bring specific, checkable facts from your own record. For example, "Onboarded 14 distributors in Pune between April and September 2025" works better than "strong relationship skills". If you don't have a number, describe the process you followed. Never inflate figures: a regulated employer can verify them.
Prepare for interviews with primary sources
- Use the product. Interviewers on product, design and customer-experience teams will expect you to have used the app. Note one thing that works well and one specific improvement you would suggest.
- Read the latest results. The investor-relations page links to quarterly results and announcements. For business and growth roles, understand which products drive revenue before you discuss strategy.
- Know the regulatory basics for your role. For risk, compliance, audit or wealth roles, be ready to explain how your past work handled regulatory requirements.
Stay safe from fake offers
The careers page we reviewed didn't include a recruitment-fraud notice, so apply these general checks to any message that claims to come from Groww:
- Apply only through the careers page or the Greenhouse board it links to.
- Treat any request for payment, such as a "registration", "training" or "security deposit" fee, as a strong warning sign.
- Check whether the email domain belongs to the company, and confirm an unexpected offer through the official careers channel before you share documents.
- Never share OTPs, bank passwords or trading-account credentials during a hiring process.
Quick checklist before you apply
- You've read the full job description on the Greenhouse board, not a copy on another site
- Your resume addresses each listed responsibility with evidence
- Your notice period and employment history match your documents
- You've used the relevant Groww product and can discuss it specifically
- You've read the latest results on the investor-relations page
- You know who referred you, if anyone, and they know you've applied
