Shiv Sena (UBT) MLC Sachin Ahir elected Maharashtra Legislative Council’s deputy Chairman as Mahayuti candidate

Sachin Ahir from Shiv Sena (UBT) has been elected as the Deputy Chairman of the Maharashtra Legislative Council, representing the Mahayuti alliance. This election is significant as it reflects the political dynamics in Maharashtra, especially with the opposition MVA initially fielding Jagannath Abhyankar for the position. The withdrawal of Abhyankar's candidature, influenced by Legislative Affairs Minister Chandrakant Patil, showcases the strategic maneuvering within the state's political landscape.
