No. SSC Stenographer is a single-stage Computer Based Examination (CBT) covering General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language & Comprehension — there is no Quantitative Aptitude or Statistics paper. CBT-qualified candidates then sit a separate Skill Test in Stenography.

Is the Skill Test conducted in both English and Hindi?

Yes, the Skill Test is conducted in both English and Hindi mediums. Candidates can choose the medium they are comfortable with.

Does the Skill Test decide the final merit for SSC Stenographer?

No. The Skill Test in Stenography is qualifying only, with category-wise qualifying standards fixed separately for Grade 'C' and Grade 'D'. Final merit is based on the Computer Based Examination score, not Skill Test performance.
