AFCAT Apply Online — How to Check

AFCAT applications are filed online with Indian Air Force on afcat.cdac.in within each notification's window. This page walks through the process, the document specs and the mistakes that cause rejections.

1. Read the full notification on afcat.cdac.in and confirm your eligibility.
2. Register or log in with a working email and mobile number.
3. Fill the form carefully — personal, educational and category details are verified later against originals.
4. Upload your photograph and signature exactly to the prescribed specifications.
5. Pay the application fee online and download the submitted confirmation page.

Applications are verified against original documents much later in the cycle — an error casually entered in the form can disqualify an otherwise-selected candidate at verification.

Indian Air Force accepts applications only through afcat.cdac.in; ignore third-party forms or paid "assistance" that asks for your credentials.

Keep scans ready before you start: photograph and signature to the prescribed size and background, plus qualification, date-of-birth and category certificates as per the notification.
