Anganwadi Cutoff 2026: Merit List Marks, State-wise
For Anganwadi worker (sevika/karyakarta) and helper (sahayika) posts there is usually no exam, so there is no exam cutoff. Each vacancy is filled from a merit list built from the marks in the qualifying exam the district notice names, so the "cutoff" is simply the marks of the last candidate selected for that centre, ward or project. Supervisor posts filled through a written exam are the exception — their cutoff comes with that exam's result.

Step-by-step
- Find the notice for your district or ICDS project on the district website or your state's portal (table below).
- Open the provisional merit list for your centre, ward or block and find your position in it.
- Compare your marks with the candidates above you; the selected candidate's marks are the effective cutoff for that post.
- If your marks or category are wrong, file a written objection at the CDPO office by the date on the list.
- Check the final selection list and the document-verification date on the same website.

Why there is no single Anganwadi cutoff
Each Anganwadi vacancy is tied to a centre, ward or project, and its merit list covers only the applicants for it. A cutoff from another district, or from last year, tells you little about your own chances.
Supervisor (mukhya sevika) recruitment works differently: where a state holds a written exam for it, that exam's result carries its own qualifying marks and cutoff.
