BSF updates
This page provides information about the answer key process for BSF recruitment examinations. It explains how provisional answer keys are released, how candidates can raise objections, and how the final answer key is determined.
Facts last verified 5 July 2026
How it works
The provisional answer key is the first version of the answer key released by BSF after the examination. It allows candidates to check their probable scores and identify any issues with the questions or answers. This key is not final and is subject to changes based on valid objections raised by candidates.
Candidates can raise objections against any question or answer in the provisional answer key by logging into the official recruitment portal (https://rectt.bsf.gov.in/). Each objection must be submitted with a valid reason and supporting documentation if required. A nominal fee is charged for each objection, which is refunded only if the objection is found to be valid by the examination authority.
The final answer key is released after the examination authority has considered all valid objections raised by candidates. This key is considered final and is used for calculating the final results of the examination. No further objections can be raised against the final answer key, and it is binding on all candidates.

Common questions
The specific timeframe for raising objections is mentioned in the official notification released by BSF. Candidates should regularly check the official portal for updates regarding the objection window.
If your objection is accepted, the examination authority will make the necessary corrections to the provisional answer key. The final answer key will reflect these changes, and your score will be recalculated accordingly.
The final answer key is considered final and binding on all candidates. No further objections or challenges can be raised against the final answer key. Candidates are advised to review the final answer key carefully before accepting the examination results.
