UPPCL Cutoff — How to Check

UPPCL has no single cutoff for every post. Match the advertisement, engineering discipline or trade, category and result stage before using a published mark. The official archive and dated Technician examples below help locate the correct record; no unverified current cutoff is presented.

1. Open the official Vacancy/Results archive at https://www.uppcl.org/uppcl/en/page/vacancy-results and locate your advertisement and post.
2. Read the category-wise qualifying marks in the official notice.
3. Compare your score (from the final answer key or scorecard) against your category's mark.
4. Study previous cycles' official cutoff notices to understand the trend.
5. Plan the next stage or the next cycle based on where you stand against the trend.

The cutoff is where the merit list is cut for each category once vacancies are filled — it is an outcome of the cycle, not a pre-set pass mark.

The cutoff reflects merit across the counted stages for each category and post.

A cutoff belongs to its own recruitment and category. Read the result notice to see whether marks are raw, normalised or an aggregate across stages.

Use normalised marks only where the advertisement or result explicitly prescribes normalisation; do not assume every UPPCL exam uses it.

Official cutoff notices from earlier cycles on uppcl.org are the only reliable trend source — coaching estimates published before the official notice routinely miss by a wide margin.

The dated Technician notices above illustrate why a document-verification shortlist, selection list and corrigendum must be read separately. They do not announce a new 2026 Technician recruitment result.

For JE, AE, Executive Assistant or another post, use its own advertisement and final or revised result. Do not transfer marks, deadlines or next-stage requirements between recruitments.
