Overview
About this notification
Canara Bank invites online applications for 3,500 graduate apprentice training seats for the 2026–27 engagement. The application window is 1–17 October 2026. Candidates must first register on NATS, complete their apprenticeship profile and use the generated enrolment ID when applying through the bank’s recruitment link. A recognized graduation degree in any discipline is required, with graduation completed between 1 January 2023 and 1 September 2026. The general age range is 20–28 on 1 September 2026, with notified category relaxations. Training lasts 12 months. The monthly stipend is ₹16,650, including the government subsidy component; apprentices are not employees and do not receive employee benefits. The fee is nil for SC/ST/PwBD candidates and ₹500 for others. State-wise merit is based on Class XII or diploma marks, followed by document verification and any required local-language test. Eligibility also depends on the specified minimum marks and previous training or work-experience restrictions. Candidates should read those conditions before submitting. Class XII or diploma marks must be at least 60%, reduced to 55% for SC/ST/PwBD. Candidates can choose training seats in one state and record district preferences; allotment remains subject to availability. Local-language qualification and medical fitness are checked before final engagement.
