Overview
About this notification
Bihar Public Service Commission invites online applications for TRE 4.0 School Teacher recruitment under advertisement 15/2026. The later vacancy corrigendum revises secondary, special-school and higher-secondary subject rosters. Applications started on 25 September 2026; payment closes on 25 October and final submission on 26 October 2026. Eligibility depends on the teaching level and subject: primary applicants need an accepted elementary teacher-training route and CTET/BTET Paper I; upper-primary applicants need an accepted graduate/training route and CTET/BTET Paper II. General secondary posts require the prescribed subject qualification and teacher training with STET Paper I, while higher-secondary posts ordinarily require the prescribed postgraduate qualification and teacher training with STET Paper II. Special teachers require recognized special-education qualifications and valid RCI registration. Subject-specific and alternative routes are set out in the detailed advertisement. Academically and professionally qualified candidates appearing in STET 2026 may apply under the declaration condition, but must pass before the written examination. Complete OTR, lock the profile, select the eligible post and subject, pay the fee, then submit the final application through BPSC’s official portal. Payment alone is insufficient. Check the revised subject/district roster and the full qualification and age clauses before applying. The revised vacancy total is 33,320 after the supplementary secondary and higher-secondary requisitions. Senior Secondary routes for primary teachers still require the stated training qualification and eligibility test. Class 10 alone does not qualify an applicant for these teaching posts.
