IISc Clinical Psychologist 2026: 3 Contract Posts, Apply by 29 October

Indian Institute of Science is accepting applications for IISc Clinical Psychologist 2026 in Karnataka. Three Clinical Psychologist positions at the Wellness Centre are distributed UR 2 and OBC 1. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, individual/group/family therapy, student and staff support, crisis intervention and on-call emergency coverage. Shift work may be required. Clinical psychology credentials and counselling experience are essential; a general psychology degree does not establish this advertised eligibility. Eligibility: M.Phil/M.Sc/Psy.D in Clinical Psychology with at least 2 years counselling/support experience. RCI registration is expressly mandatory for applicants holding M.Phil Clinical Psychology. Maximum age 52 as on the application deadline, with eligible government-rule relaxation. Adolescent-case experience is desirable. Pay or training stipend: ₹47,000 per month plus HRA. Initial one-year contract, renewable annually up to 5 years subject to performance and institutional needs. Annual increments are conditional.
