Exciting opportunity for researchers! G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment & Development (GBPIHED) is hiring a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at its Sikkim Unit for the DST-funded NMSHE project. This temporary position offers a fixed monthly stipend of ₹16,000 for NET/GATE qualified candidates, plus HRA as per norms. Essential qualification is a First Class Master
Essential: First Class Masters degree in Botany/Plant sciences/Forestry/Zoology/Field Biology/Environmental Sciences. Age: Not exceeding 28 years (relaxation for SC/ST/Women/OBC as per Govt. norms). Desirable: Working experience in Himalayan region. Indian citizenship required.
1. Interested candidates must send their Bio-data with cover letter in advance via email to hkbadola@rediffmail.com. 2. Appear for a Walk-in Interview on 20th May 2016 at 10:45 AM at the Sikkim Unit campus, Pangthang, Gangtok. 3. Carry all original documents, certificates, testimonials, publications, and a set of attested photocopies. 4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. 5. Transportation from Gangtok Taxi Stand to the venue will be provided between 9:15 am and 10:15 am on the interview day.
