This addendum from the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) announces revised vacancies for posts included in the Combined Engineering Subordinate Services Examination 2023. A total of 1,230 vacancies are now available for various engineering and technical roles such as Overseer, Junior Draughting Officer, Junior Engineer (Civil), Foreman, and Executive (Civil). Pay scales range from ₹19,500 to ₹1,30,400 per month, depending on the post and level. The minimum age for most posts is 18 years, with varying maximum age limits and relaxations for reserved categories. This update, dated August 30, 2023, provides crucial modifications to the original notification. Minimum Age: 18 years (as on 01.07.2023). Maximum Age: 32 years for 'Others'. For BCs, BCMs, MBCs/DCs: 34 years. For SCs, SC(A)s & STs, Destitute Widows of all castes: 37 years. No age limit for certain reserved categories. Maximum age limit enhanced by 2 years as per G.O (Ms).No.91, dated 13.09.2021. Educational qualifications are specific to each post within the engineering subordinate services (details for which are expected in the main notification).
