PhD Position in Cancer Imaging under Rolling Admissions at IIIT Delhi

The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D), a state university established by the Government of NCT of Delhi, is inviting applications for one PhD position under rolling admissions. The position is part of an ongoing research project on cancer imaging (classification and segmentation) conducted in collaboration with AIIMS, New Delhi. The selected candidate will work in the SBILab at IIIT-D, which recently hosted a medical imaging challenge at IEEE ISBI 2019. The monthly remuneration is Rs. 32,500 (all inclusive). Essential qualifications include clearing a national-level examination such as GATE or CSIR-UGC NET, and holding an ME/MTech in ECE/CSE with strong programming skills in deep learning using PyTorch/MATLAB. Academically strong BE/BTech graduates are also eligible. Desirable experience includes prior project work in deep learning for cancer imaging, research experience in academic or industrial settings, and teamwork.
