Order on Additional and Independent Charges of Departments for Shri Puneet Agarwal, IAS and Shri A.K. Bhattacharya

In exercise of powers under government service regulations and based on directives from the Election Commission of India, the Government of Tripura has restructured the administrative responsibilities of key officials. Shri Puneet Agarwal, currently serving as Chief Electoral Officer and Principal Secretary in the Election Department, has been given additional charge of the Revenue (excluding Relief, Rehabilitation & Disaster Management) and Industries & Commerce (Information Technology) Departments. Concurrently, Shri A.K. Bhattacharya, Special Secretary, is relieved from the independent charge of the Revenue department (excluding Relief, Rehabilitation & Disaster Management), while continuing to hold independent charge of Revenue (including RR&DM) and Home (Fire & Emergency Services), along with several other roles. The order is effective immediately until further notice.
