Executive Assistant at Directorate General of Shipping

The Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India, is recruiting 03 Executive Assistants – two at its Mumbai headquarters and one at the Delhi Liaison Office. The primary responsibility is to provide comprehensive executive support to the Director General, ensuring efficient office operations, professional communication, protocol adherence, and logistical coordination. Key duties include managing the DG’s calendar, handling official correspondence, organizing official tours, maintaining digital records, supervising IT equipment, coordinating vehicles, supporting petty cash and procurement processes, and upholding professional conduct standards. Candidates must be graduates with at least 60% marks from a recognized university and have a minimum of 8 years of experience in government offices (State/Central) with proficiency in English, Hindi, or Marathi.
