The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has issued a detailed advertisement for the recruitment of Agriculture Officer and Agriculture Research Officer – Agriculture Chemistry in the Agriculture Department. The recruitment is conducted under the Rajasthan Agriculture Service Rules, 1960. The posts are permanent with specific educational qualifications required: M.Sc. in Agriculture or Horticulture for Agriculture Officer, and M.Sc. in Chemistry, Agri. Chemistry, or Soil Science for Agriculture Research Officer. Candidates must have working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthan culture. The age limit is 20–40 years as of January 1, 2021, with relaxations for reserved categories, ex-servicemen, NCC cadets, and ex-prisoners. Age relaxation up to 5–10 years is provided for SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS, and female candidates. The pay scale is Level-14 (Grade Pay ₹5400). Horizontal reservations apply for persons with disabilities and ex-servicemen. Applications are invited online. Candidates must meet eligibility criteria before appearing for the interview.
