The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced recruitment for 248 posts of Assistant Professor, Senior Demonstrator, and Biochemist in various medical colleges under the Medical Education Department. Eligible candidates with recognized postgraduate qualifications (MD/MS/M.Sc./MBBS) in respective subjects and required teaching experience can apply online. The recruitment is governed by Rajasthan Medical Service Rules, 1962. DNB qualifications are considered equivalent to MD/MS. Age relaxation is applicable as per Rajasthan government norms for reserved categories. The pay scale for Assistant Professors is ₹15,600–39,100 with Grade Pay ₹6,600, and for Senior Demonstrators/Biochemists, Grade Pay is ₹5,400. The maximum age limit is 37 years (relaxable up to 42 for certain posts and categories).
