The Armed Forces Tribunal, Regional Bench, Chennai has announced a vacancy for the position of Despatch Rider (Group 'C', Non-Gazetted) on deputation/absorption basis for a period of three years. The post falls under Pay Matrix Level-2 (Rs.19,900–63,200) as per 7th CPC. Eligible candidates must be officials working in Central or State Governments, Supreme Court, High Courts, Commissions, Subordinate Courts, or Statutory/Autonomous bodies with pensionary benefits. Essential qualifications include 10th pass from a recognized board with ability to read English/Hindi/regional language, and a valid driving license for motorcycle/scooter/auto-rickshaw with at least three years of driving experience. Relaxation in experience is permissible for SC/ST candidates at the discretion of the Chairperson. The maximum age limit is 56 years as of the application closing date. Departmental employees in the direct line of promotion are not eligible. Applications must be submitted with a duly filled Bio-Data/CV Proforma.
