Empanelment as Stringers in Doordarshan Kendra, Dehradun (Uttarakhand)

Prasar Bharati's Regional News Unit at Doordarshan Kendra Dehradun is seeking experienced stringers or cameramen from proprietors, partnership firms, corporate bodies, or organizations for empanelment. Candidates must have expertise in visual coverage and possess necessary equipment and qualifications in cinematography, videography, or broadcast journalism. Stringers will be engaged for news, current affairs, sports, business, and other subject coverage in DVC-Pro/DV-CAM/CCD/Mini DV formats. Coverage areas include Dehradun, Haridwar, Roorkee, Tehri, Chamoli, Pauri, Kotdwar, Almora, Sult, Bageshwar, Champawat, Nainital, and Udhamsingh Nagar. Payment will be made per coverage: Rs. 1500 for local coverage up to 6 hours, Rs. 1000 for extended or distant coverage beyond 10 km, and Rs. 1800+ for outstation coverage. Applicants must submit proof of qualifications, experience, and equipment ownership. A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1180 (including 18% GST) via demand draft is required. Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format (Annexure 'A') by 20th February 2026. Stringers may be removed from the panel for poor quality, delays, subcontracting, false information, or actions causing embarrassment to Prasar Bharati.
