Junior Engineer (DME) Recruitment at IIT Kanpur

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has announced recruitment for the position of Junior Engineer (Design, Mechanical & Electrical) under Advertisement No. 02/2022. The selection process consists of a written test divided into three parts: Part-A (Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and General Awareness), Part-B (Descriptive questions on official writing), and Part-C (Domain-specific technical questions). Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks (30% for UR, 27% for OBC, and 25% for SC/ST/PwD) to be considered for merit. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a Job Oriented Practical Test (qualifying in nature). Final selection will be based solely on the written test score, subject to qualifying in the practical test. Document verification will be conducted before appearing for the practical test. Candidates must follow COVID-19 safety protocols during the examination.
