The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has issued Notification No. 53/2017 for the recruitment of Secondary Grade Teachers in the School Education Department. A total of 5,415 vacancies are available, including 4,779 for All Media (excluding Urdu) and 636 for Urdu Medium. Eligible candidates must have a Diploma in Elementary Education or Bachelor in Elementary Education along with qualifying marks in TSTET/APTET/CTET. The selection will be based on 80% weightage for the written exam conducted by TSPSC and 20% for TET scores. The exam is likely to be held in the 2nd week of February 2018, either as a Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) or OMR-based offline test. Online applications were open from 30/10/2017 to 30/11/2017. Candidates must meet age criteria (18–44 years as on 01/07/2017), with relaxations for specific categories. Hall tickets were available 7 days before the exam date.
