The recruitment examination for the post of Technical Assistant in A.P. Police (Transport Organization) Service comprises two papers in the written examination. Paper I covers General Studies & Mental Ability with 150 questions of 150 marks and a duration of 150 minutes. Paper II focuses on Automobile Engineering with 150 questions for 300 marks and the same duration. There is negative marking of 1/3rd for each incorrect answer as per government orders. The syllabus includes topics such as current affairs, Indian polity, science and technology, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, automobile systems, material science, and industrial engineering. The exam is at the degree level and aims to assess both general aptitude and technical knowledge relevant to the role.
