The G. B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment and Sustainable Development, Himachal Unit, is recruiting on a temporary basis for multiple project-funded positions. Available roles include Senior Research Fellow (SRF/SPF), Junior Research Fellow (JRF/JPF), Data Entry Operator (DEO), and Field Assistant (FA) across three different projects funded by NMHS, DST, and EWI. Positions require qualifications ranging from Intermediate (10+2) to Master’s degree in relevant fields such as Environmental Science, Geography, Hydrology, Botany, Zoology, or Computer Applications. Preference is given to candidates with field experience, GIS/Remote Sensing knowledge, and expertise in environmental monitoring. Walk-in-interview scheduled for July 25, 2017, at Mohal-Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. Emoluments vary by position and funding agency, with HRA included for certain roles.
