Senior Research Fellow / Senior Project Associate and Technician Positions at IBSD under Ministry of Earth Sciences Project

The Institute of Bioresources & Sustainable Development (IBSD), under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, is recruiting for key positions under the project 'Exploring the Marine Ecosystems for Novel Bioresources with Human Health and Industrial Significance', funded by the Ministry of Earth Sciences. The project focuses on isolation and characterization of marine bacteria, purification of bioactive metabolites, and advanced genomic and proteomic analyses. Two positions are available: Senior Research Fellow / Senior Project Associate (2 posts) requiring M.Sc. or equivalent with 4 years of R&D experience or a doctoral degree, and Technician (1 post) requiring B.Sc. or 3-year engineering diploma. Candidates with relevant project experience will be given preference. The positions are contractual for up to 2 years or until project completion, whichever is earlier. Emoluments are ₹42,000 + 18% HRA for SRF/SPA and ₹20,000 + 18% HRA for Technician, subject to DST guidelines.
