The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, is recruiting 5 Research Associates for the 'Development of International Centre of Excellence for Dams (ICED)' project funded by the Central Water Commission (CWC), New Delhi. The role involves tasks such as design flood estimation, dam break modeling, inundation mapping, emergency action plans, reservoir rule curves, operation and maintenance manuals, dam instrumentation, inflow forecasting, and geotechnical stability analysis. Eligible candidates must have an M.Tech in Civil Engineering, Dam Safety, Hydrology, Hydraulics, or Geotechnical Engineering from a recognized institute, preferably NITs/IITs/IISc, with a minimum of 75% aggregate across High School, Intermediate, B.Tech, and M.Tech, and must have qualified GATE. Emoluments range from ₹30,000 to ₹75,000 per month plus HRA, for a duration of one year. Walk-in interview scheduled on February 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM at ICED, IIT Roorkee. No TA/DA will be provided.
