Forest Range Officer in Forest Department (EFS&T) - TSPSC Recruitment 2017

The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has issued Notification No. 46/2017 for the recruitment of 67 Forest Range Officers in the Forest Department (EFS&T). Applications are to be submitted online via the TSPSC website (www.tspsc.gov.in) from 21/08/2017 to 12/09/2017. The selection process includes an objective-type examination, likely to be held on 14-15 October 2017, which may be conducted as either a Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) or an offline OMR-based exam. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in specified disciplines such as Agriculture, Botany, Forestry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields from a recognized university. Physical standards are prescribed for both men and women, with relaxed norms for Scheduled Tribes and specified ethnic groups. The age limit is 18–28 years as of 01/07/2017, with relaxations for SC/ST, BC, ex-servicemen, and other eligible categories. Applicants must complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the TSPSC portal before applying. Hall tickets will be available 7 days before the exam date. The pay scale is ₹31,460–84,970.
