Consultant Position at Electronics Test & Development Centre, Chennai

The Electronics Test & Development Centre (ETDC), Chennai, under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), is seeking retired government servants who held positions such as Under Secretary, Deputy Director, Section Officer, Administrative Officer, or Assistant Section Officer (or equivalent) for engagement as a Consultant on a contractual basis. The role is for an initial period of one year, extendable based on performance and organizational needs, but not beyond five years after superannuation. The candidate must be proficient in administrative functions including General Administration, Personnel Administration, Stores & Procurement, Vigilance, RTI, financial proposals, and government rules. Proficiency in PFMS, Bhavishya, GeM, NSDL, MS Office, and drafting is required. The remuneration is calculated as the difference between the last drawn basic pay and the uncommuted pension. A fixed transport allowance (Rs. 7200 for Level-9 and above, Rs. 3600 for Level-6 to 8) is provided. No HRA, accommodation, or DA is admissible.
