India to resume train coach exports to Bangladesh, first shipment since Sheikh Hasina's ouster likely in July

India is set to resume the export of train coaches to Bangladesh, with the first shipment of 20 coaches scheduled for July. This resumption marks a significant development in Indo-Bangladesh trade relations, following a political delay after Sheikh Hasina's recent political challenges. The coaches are manufactured at the Rail Coach Factory in Kapurthala and are part of a larger contract for 200 coaches funded by the European Investment Bank, with RITES managing the project.
