Iran-U.S. MoU has had a positive impact on energy, fertiliser flow to India: MEA

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has reported a positive impact on the flow of energy and fertilizers to India following the Iran-U.S. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on June 17. Since this agreement, 11 vessels bound for India have successfully transited the Strait of Hormuz, indicating a significant improvement in shipping activities in recent days. This development is crucial for India's energy security and agricultural inputs, showcasing the geopolitical dynamics in the region.
