About this notification
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has released details for the written test for the Junior Engineer (DCE1) position under Advertisement No. 02/2022. The test is 2 hours 30 minutes long, comprising three parts: Part-A (40 marks) on Quantitative, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and Current Affairs; Part-B (20 marks) descriptive; and Part-C (60 marks) objective domain-specific engineering questions. Minimum qualifying marks are 30% for UR, 27% for OBC, and 25% for SC/ST/PwD. Final selection depends on written test scores, provided the practical test is qualified.
